Terms of Service

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use Aregix. If you are under 18, you may only use Aregix with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental consent.

MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: Aregix is NOT a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Heart rate and other biometric data displayed by Aregix are for informational and fitness purposes only. Always consult your physician before starting any exercise program. Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. Aregix is not responsible for any injury, health issue, or death that may occur during or after exercise.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Aregix, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of service

Aregix is a web-based fitness analytics platform that connects to fitness sensors (heart rate monitors, treadmills, smartwatches) and provides real-time workout tracking, history, and analytics. The platform is currently in closed beta.

3. Beta status

Aregix is in BETA. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Data may be lost. Use at your own risk.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering
You are responsible for keeping your password secure
You must be at least 16 years old to use Aregix
One account per person — do not share accounts
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform
Use automated tools to access the platform (bots, scrapers)
Share your invite code publicly without permission
Use Aregix for any illegal purpose

6. Your data

You own your workout data. We store it to provide the service. You can delete your account and all data at any time from your profile page. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Device connections

Aregix connects to fitness devices via Web Bluetooth and WebUSB in your browser. We are not responsible for device compatibility issues, firmware bugs, or hardware damage. Device connections are made directly between your browser and your devices — we do not have remote access to your hardware.

8. Fitness disclaimer

EXERCISE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Aregix provides workout programs and real-time data for informational purposes. You are solely responsible for your physical safety. Do not rely on Aregix data for medical decisions. Heart rate accuracy depends on your sensor hardware and skin contact — readings may be inaccurate.

Consult a physician before starting any exercise program
Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, nausea, or difficulty breathing
Do not exceed your physical limits based on data shown by Aregix
Aregix is not a substitute for professional medical monitoring

9. Limitation of liability

Aregix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, death, data loss, equipment damage, or other damages arising from use of the platform. This includes but is not limited to: inaccurate heart rate readings, workout program suggestions, device connection failures, and data loss.

10. Intellectual property

The Aregix name, logo, and platform design are our property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the platform.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, United States.
